Faith Jenkins is an American television personality, attorney, legal commentator and beauty queen. She is best known for being a judge on daytime TV show Judge Faith. She officially joined MSNBC as a legal analyst on March 11, 2014. She was crowned Miss Louisiana Tech 1998, becoming the first African-American woman to win the pageant. She won Miss Louisiana 2000 beauty pageant and advanced to compete in the Miss America 2001 pageant, where she placed second. Jenkins was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, USA on September 21, 1977. After graduating from C. E. Byrd High School in Shreveport, Louisiana, she attended Louisiana Tech University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in political science. She also earned her Juris Doctor from the Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she was ranked first in her class.
